Through research I believe this is a 1983. I bought this mower several years ago from a family friend as a project that I never got to. I had the mower running and it has since sat in my garage literally collecting dust for about 10 years. It has 4 brand new tires that are still holding air after all that time and a brand new battery that needs to be charged. While trying to start the mower a few years ago, it cranks but will not start. I haven't attempted starting it since then and now the battery is dead. Keep in mind this mower is not ready to cut grass immediately. This is a good project for someone who knows engines, and that's not me. I'm only looking to get back what I paid for the tires and battery. And, I want it out of my garage. You will obviously need to trailer\pickup truck this mower to take it home.
