Vintage Telephone Electrician Lineman Tool GMP Co. Cable Dresser
This vintage wooden tool is a cable dresser, it may have been used by a telephone lineman working for the Bell System, AT&T, or perhaps by an Electric company lineman. This tool is marked GMP Co., this is an early version of the tool made by General Machine Products a company that makes specialty tools for telephone and electric utility companies.
This tool is in very good overall condition, I cannot tell if this tool was ever used, but it does have minor blemishes to the finish. This wooden tool is 13 5/8” long x 2 1/8” wide.
This tool is a rare find and will be an excellent addition to your collection.
